Arowana, parrots, koi, luo han, goldfish...depends on your liking

Since i prefer Arowana, I will touch on that...

Placing of tanks in house should either be in the north, east or south east...Avoid the south or west area...

Fire - red arowana - yang energy and wealth but too much is not good
Metal - gold arowana - yang energy providing luck and peace and serve as protector
wood - green arowana - yin energy to balance the yang in the house
Metal and some fire - silver arowana - some yang energy and luck, peace and serve as protector
Water - Black arowana - yin energy to balance yang energy
Earth and some fire - pearl arowana - some yang energy and serve as protector

most important is the balance of all elements, alot of either is worst then having none
